Carmignac Gestion, Vandelanotte company auditors and OMNICAP organised theme evening
On 28 November 2013, Carmignac Gestion, Vandelanotte company auditors and OMNICAP organized a theme evening on the topic “The transfer of your company”. This theme evening has been organized in the beautifully renovated Tivoli Castle in Mechelen.
It was a private information session where some 50 entrepreneurs and owners of (family) businesses were present.
René Van Asbroeck from Vandelanotte company auditors started the evening on the theme "the valuation of the family business".
Stefan Hertogs of OMNICAP spoke about “the pitfalls and points to the sale / transfer of the family business”. Here, the focus was not only on the sale process, but also on preparing the company for a sale. As a result, the owner not only increases the chance of a successful sale, but can also obtain a higher price.
Jan Molenaers of Carmignac Gestion closed the evening with the subject “what to do after the transition from business to private fortune”.
After the information session, the participants continued the discussion on these topics during the walking dinner.
